Hallam FC make their way into the FA Cup preliminary round after coming from behind to beat Lower Breck at Sandygate.
In a thrilling encounter, Lower Breck secured a narrow lead at half-time with a penalty goal, despite Hallam dominating the play.
The second half saw Hallam continue to press, and their efforts paid off when Ross Goodwin nudged the ball over the line following a precise freekick delivery from Jack Brownell.
Lower Breck attempted to retaliate, but Hallam’s defence stood firm. The decisive moment came in the 70th minute when Chris Salt met Daniel Pudil’s cross with a thunderous header, sealing the victory for Hallam FC.
The match concluded with a 2-1 victory for Hallam FC, who now advance to the FA Cup preliminary round, set to host Charnock Richards at Sandygate on the 17th of August.
