Utility Tapes releases unusual music from artists across the world in cassette tape and digital formats. Founded in March 2020 we have regularly released a wide range of musical styles all unified by the common traits of being unique and thought provoking.

The next Utility Tapes release is “Live from Bishop’s House”; a live recording of internationally renowned drone musician Aidan Baker (Nadja) at the iconic 16th century Bishops’ House in Sheffield. The performance spans the breadth of Aidan’s signature style incorporating unorthodox guitar techniques, electronic noise and muted, understated vocals. It is available for pre-order now on utilitytapes.bandcamp.com

As dedicated Hallam FC fans we’re delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor a game and look forward to watching Hallam’s promotion push in the coming weeks.
