The Countrymen are still yet to lose at home this season after their 0-0 draw with Emley.
Craig Denton chose an unchanged side from Hallam’s 2-1 win over Silsden, with Calum Ward earning back-to-back starts after his decisive goal midweek.
And the Countrymen had their best chance of the half 35 minutes in, when Poulter’s driven shot went just wide of the opposite post, before Emley ought to have been ahead eight minutes later, when a well struck shot hit the post, with the rebound sailing over the bar.
And Poulter had another chance to take Hallam into the lead on the hour mark, when Ward played the forward through on goal. His initial shot was saved, before the follow up was saved by the goalkeeper.
With ten minutes to go, Hallam were given a golden opportunity to take the lead when the referee pointed to the spot for a foul. Up stepped top goalscorer Brodie Litchfield, whose shot was unfortunately saved, with Declan Lambton guessing the right way.
And Lambton made another great save to keep the scores level with four to go, with Brandon Bradbury’s shot being saved well after great work from James Cadman, with the latter striking wide soon after.
