Goals from Benni Ndlovu and Leon Howarth (from the spot) were enough to get a draw out of NPL Premier division side Ashton United this afternoon, forcing a replay on Wednesday at the Hurst Cross Stadium.
The Countrymen took an early after less than 20 minutes on the clock when a through ball over the top was latched onto by Ndlovu, beating the outrushing goalkeeper.
The Robins equalised later through Callum Rowe on the edge of the box, before Willem Tomlinson took the away side into the lead five minutes later.
With just under an hour on the clock, Hallam equalised through Howarth converting from the spot once again.

And with five minutes to go of regular time, Ashton United were down to ten men when Sam Baird was sent off for a second bookable offence, giving Craig Denton’s men an advantage going into the final stage of the game.
They were unable to take this, meaning they will have to travel to Greater Manchester on Wednesday evening.
