Hallam FC are delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated striker Rob Guilfoyle.
The in-demand 23-year-old joins the Countrymen, adding even more firepower to an exciting attacking unit ahead of the new season.
Despite his young age, Rob arrives with an impressive footballing CV, starting his career at Hull City, and representing the likes of Worksop Town, Bradford (Park Avenue) and Ashton United, bringing proven quality and experience to Sandygate.
Rob wasted no time making an impact, opening his Hallam account with a superbly struck free-kick in his first pre-season appearance against Sheffield United.
And joint managers Danny and Richard Patterson were both delighted to secure his signature.
“Rob is a player we’ve admired for a while. He has fantastic movement, real quality in the final third and a brilliant attitude to match.
“He’s still only 23 but already has plenty of experience at a good level, and we believe there’s even more to come from him.
“We’re delighted to welcome him to Hallam and can’t wait to see him in blue this season.”
Welcome to the Countrymen, Rob Guilfoyle!
