Chairman’s Statement
Following the recent announcement of new investment on 12th February, I would like to update all Hallam FC supporters on exciting developments at the club.
I can now confirm that businessman Gino Maccio will be the new principal investor in the club. He has a wealth of knowledge of non-league football and has also recently moved into the area. Working alongside Gino, is Ashley Carson, both also bringing new expertise into the club.
A number of positive plans are in place to enhance both the stadium and clubhouse facilities over the coming months. Sky TV has now returned which has already been met positively and as part of the planned improvements, the clubhouse will temporarily close.
Once completed, it will reopen on a more permanent basis, providing an improved space for supporters and the local community to enjoy. Other upgrades aimed at making the ground an even better place for supporters, players and the wider community are part of the new developments.
The current committee fully supports the new investment and the fresh ideas it brings. As part of this next chapter for the club, there will be committee changes at the next AGM at the end of the season.
After several years as Chairman, I will be stepping down from the position that it has been an honour to hold and Vice Chairman Kevin Scott will also step down.
This is an exciting time for Hallam FC and we look forward to sharing further updates with supporters in the near future. Thank you for your continued support.
Richard Pillinger – Chairman
